Threadless Reprint Information
Threadless only prints a certain number of each winning design, so when all those shirts are sold, the design becomes out of stock. However, that doesn’t mean you have no chance of getting that special shirt you want. Threadless reprints some designs, especially popular ones. Unfortunately, there is no set schedule for when/if a design will be reprinted. A design may be reprinted in a couple months, a year, or never. The good thing is that Threadless has been increasingly reprinting larger numbers of t-shirts (probably due to their growing popularity), so you have a much better chance of being able to buy a sold out shirt. They’ve even begun reprinting some of the classic designs like Flowers in the Attic, Funkalicious and others. I can’t tell you exactly when your shirt will be reprinted, but Threadless does offer you the ability to sign up for reprint notifications, whereby they will send you an email if the shirt ever gets printed again.

The Reprint Request Option
If the shirt you want is sold out in your size, Threadless also offers a convenient “Request Reprint” form (see image above). While this doesn’t guarantee the shirt will get reprinted, if enough people make requests, it will certainly help its chances. Threadless does have somewhat of a schedule with reprints in that they release a fresh batch of reprints every Thursday. So if you wanna get your classic Threadless fix, check back on Thursday.
Hopefully this has given you a little insight into the reprint process. Remember, if the shirt you want is out of stock, don’t panic. Request a reprint, wait patiently, and Threadless will probably reward you with some sick new torso coverage.
